Ben Krinsky
Ben is currently pursuing his PhD in the Committee on Evolutionary Biology at the University of Chicago.  He has broad interests in evolutionary genetics, and in particular, is currently focusing his research on the evolutionary and functional consequences of gene duplication.  Ben is also interested in science policy and the ways scientists can effectively advocate for the support of research.  Ben currently lives in the vibrant city of Chicago.






Bryan Singer
Bryan is a graduate student in the Committee on Neurobiology at the University of Chicago.  He studies drug-induced neuroplasticity underlying associative conditioning and non-associative sensitization.  Bryan is a junior scholar with the Chicago Biomedical Consortium (CBC) and an advisor to the research management company Mendeley.  In his work with the CBC and Mendeley, Bryan hopes to foster greater collaboration between researchers within and at different institutions, eventually creating an environment where practical scientific applications can more quickly and efficiently benefit the public.  In doing so, he also is interested in increasing community support and knowledge for scientific endeavors. Bryan currently resides in Chicago and in his spare time he enjoys photographing the diverse natural habitats around the Chicagoland area.  


Emma Wyatt   (ewyatt@uchicago.edu)
Emma received her Ph.D. from the University of Chicago Department of Psychology.  Her studies ranged from social cognition to sensory perception and psychophysiology.  Emma is interested in science communication, namely how insights from consumer behavior can help scientists more effectively represent their findings in mass media.  Emma currently lives in Nashville with her family and finds pleasure in the nature that surrounds her.
